These are hand painted, 3 x 3 bail wire jars that come in 5 different colors: Turquoise, Red, Purple, Yellow, and Green.
These lights are solar powered and when charged in direct sunlight will last up to
12 hours, although they hold a pretty strong charge (up to 6 hours, if
not more) in indirect sunlight.
The solar light is automatic and
does not require you to turn it on or off. It comes on at night as soon as there is not enough light to charge it, and it goes
off in the morning when there is enough light to start charging it again.
The solar light is also self contained, so there are no exposed wire or battery
If you bring it inside at night for some light, you will want to recharge it again in the sunlight.
These lights have LED bulbs in them which have a life expectancy of up to 25 years.
They are powered with 2/3 AA Rechargeable Ni-Cd Batteries which can be purchased online when needed, however the battery is included with this purchase and should last 12 months or longer.
When
you receive your Aditi Light, you will need to open it up and pull out
the orange tag and then charge it in the sun at least 6 hours before using.
